Minimum Commitment
After the 30-day trial, once committed to a single membership, we ask for a 3-month minimum commitment or a £100 early exit fee.
After the 30-day trial, once committed to a joint membership, we ask for a 6-month minimum commitment or £100 early exit fee.
Changes to your Single Membership
If on a single membership, you can upgrade or downgrade after your 30-day trial period needs to be submitted to Trained by Jones by the 10th of the month to be effective from the 28th of that given month. This can be done via WhatsApp directly to Hannah or Gemma.
You will only be able to downgrade twice in a calendar year.
Changes to your Joint Membership
If on a joint membership, you can upgrade or downgrade after your 30-day trial period. This needs to be submitted to Hannah by the 10th of the month to be effected from the 28th of that given month. This can be done via WhatsApp.
You can individually up or downgrade however, if one of you wishes to cancel after your minimum commitment period then you will either both have to cancel OR the remaining person move onto a single membership pricing structure.
You will only be able to downgrade twice in a calendar year.
Termination Policy
To cancel your membership after your minimum commitment period, please notify us by the 10th to be effective from the 28th. If you notify Trained by Jones after the 10th, your membership will terminate the following month.
Please note, you CANNOT skip one-off payments. We have our Membership Freeze option if you need to take a break.
Cancellation Policy
You will lose your credit if you cancel a session within 6 hours of the session start time. If you do not show up for a session, you will lose your credit.
Membership Freeze Policy
We understand that sometimes life circumstances arise. It is a balance between running the business and providing flexibility for members. Which is why we have introduced our membership freeze policy under these circumstances:
1. Financial hardship (drastic change in circumstances)
2. Injury or Illness (That can't be supported by TBJ)
3. Pregnancy
You can freeze your membership for a maximum of 2 consecutive months, only once per 12-month calendar period. You must give notice of your freeze request by the 10th of the month for the freeze to begin on the 28th of that month.
Direct Debit
The direct debit of your package amount will come out on the 28th of each month. We will help you set this up if you wish to continue after your 30-day trial.
Price Changes
Every January TBJ will review our pricing and only ever increase the prices if needed to ensure you get delivered the same, high-quality personal training sessions. You will be given at least 2 months’ notice.
Session Usage
Your session credits should be used in the billing cycle, which runs from the 28th of the month to the 27th of the next month. You need to use your session credits in this period and you cannot roll over sessions.
Holidays
You can fit your sessions in whenever you wish within the month. We recommend planning if you are going for more than a week, and maybe altering your payment so you don't pay for sessions you’re not using. This is down to you to notify Hannah.
Rolling sessions over
Please note that the number of sessions you choose every month can only be used in that billing cycle. You cannot roll over sessions unless agreed otherwise directly with Trained by Jones under special circumstances.
Social Media
As a company, we use social media to advertise and promote the work we do. We will take photos and videos during your sessions to promote you. Please contact Trained by Jones if you wish to opt out of being on the Trained by Jones' social media pages.
